ILO statement on the Cambodian appeals court verdict against Thatch Saveth
20 February 2009 - The International Labour Office is disappointed to learn that the Cambodian Appeals Court has upheld the lower court’s verdict against Thatch Saveth. In February 2005 Thatch Saveth was found guilty of the murder of Ros Sovannareth, a trade union leader, in May 2004. (Press release)
