    The ILO, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China (MoHRSS), and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security (DoHRSS) of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China are organizing a forum for practitioners to share knowledge and best practices in employment services delivery.

  2. Regional Skills Technical Working Group (RSTWG) Meeting

    11 July - 1 December 2017

    The RSTWG comprises of national focal points who were earlier designated by the Governments of the AMS to liaise with the ILO and to coordinate skills-related programmes at the national level. At the same time, the ILO also invited members of the AQRF Committee and the ASEAN Secretariat to be members of the RSTWG to ensure that activities are in line with the TVET –related activities in ASEAN. As the current focus is on the MRS, this shall foster greater coherence in the implementation and completion of the national, sub-regional or regional Action Plans in this area. The Chair of the TWG will rotate each year among its members. For 2017, the Ministry of Manpower (MoM), Indonesia has proposed to host the meeting on a cost-sharing basis with the ILO.

    The ILO-Bureau for Employers’ Activities (ACT/EMP) together with the Singapore National Employers Federation will hold a media and executive briefing on ASEAN in transformation: How technology is changing jobs and enterprises. The meeting brings together 100 CEOs and senior executives from across the region along with international and regional media outlets.
