    The Project aims to reduce human trafficking in Sri Lanka by intervening via a three pronged approach (3P’s) : Prevention, Protection and Prosecution through conducting research and awareness to inform regulations and practice, ensuring fair and ethical business recruitment practices are adopted, improving protection services for identified victims and prosecuting and investigating offenders.

  1. Decent Work Country Programme for Lao People’s Democratic Republic 2017–2021

    The 2017–21 DWCP for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic provides a five-year framework for cooperation between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the national constituents (the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Government and employers’ and workers’ organizations).

  2. Labour Inspection and Role of Workers in Promotion of Workplace Compliance to Labour Laws and Standards

    The IndustriALL Global Union, in partnership with the ILO projects on labour inspectorate and the GSP+ on freedom of association and collective Bargaining, will conduct a seminar on the role of workers in the promotion of workplace compliance and labour inspection.

  2. World Day for Safety and Health at Work

    The International Labour Organization in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour & Trade Union Relations, National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) together with the Employers & Workers is organizing a National Seminar on Occupational Safety & Health on 27th April 2018 to commemorate World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The workshop will be held at Galadari Hotel from 8.30 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.
