    To determine the impact of COVID19 on employment and business in the Pacific Island Countries, the ILO Pacific Office is working with its National Tripartite Constituents in the member countries to undertake Rapid Assessments (RA). RA’s for Fiji and Samoa has been completed with a solid model to replicate in Tonga, Palau, Republic of Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Kiribati.

  2. Guidance note on employment intensive tank rehabilitation

    This publication is an important result of the ILO's Climate Resilience project implemented in the Northern Province, with the view of building drought resilience of small holder agriculture communities. The guidance note explains the technical process of selecting minor irrigation systems for rehabilitation, how to adopt employment intensive mechanisms in tank rehabilitation and other key features pertaining.

  1. World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2020- Stop the Pandemic: Covid‐19 Emergency Preparedness at the Workplace

    The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MoLVT), Employer’s and Worker’s Organizations in Cambodia, with technical support from the International Labour Organization (ILO) through ILO/Japan OSH Project on “Enhancing the Occupational Safety and Health Standard in Construction Sector”, and ILO/BFC Project (Better Factories Cambodia), jointly organized a virtual World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2020 under the theme “Stop the Pandemic: Covid‐19 Emergency Preparedness at the Workplace”, on 29 April 2020.
