Most of our trainees now work formally under this brand. Trainees employed are not limited to the Vocational Training Centre of our Chamber, there are others employed in enterprise members of our Chamber. ILO offered us wonderful opportunities, we are thankful.”

Following the decree of return-to-normal, our chamber continued to observe mask, distance and hand hygiene rules, and started a course of 200 hours on decorative woodwork in partnership with ISKUR, Konya Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, and Selçuklu Public Education Centre. Our education centre will host new project courses in the future. The vision of our education centre is to become a centre where wood transforms into art. Through our project, we offer the possibility of certifying vocational qualifications to our trainees. Such certificates are awarded by accredited certification organizations and provide advantage in finding jobs. To date, 155 persons have been certified. We expect this figure to go up when the ongoing examination programme is completed. We aim that certified beneficiaries will match their vocational qualifications with good quality jobs, and practise their vocation in full awareness of occupational safety and health.”
