Handbooks on Labour Rights have been prepared in Turkish and Arabic in cooperation with ILO and Labour Inspection Board.
International Labor Organization (ILO) Turkey Office and Labor Inspection Board of Ministry of Labor and Social Security have prepared seven series of handbooks with questions and answers within the framework of current legislation in Turkish and Arabic languages with an aim to raise awareness of employees and working age population as potential labour force on rights and obligations foreseen in the Labor Law and related regulations such as working hours and wages, training of workers and workers’ rights arising from labor legislation, right to rest, special working conditions for women, children and young workers as well as occupational safety and health. The handbooks aim to inform employers, Syrians under the temporary protection, international protection applicants and status holders and host communities about the labour rights.
