This publication contains three documents, one for each of the priorities. Each document provides a brief analysis of the situation and trends in the region's countries in each area and explains how it aligns with the ILO's mandates and global priorities and its contribution to the implementation of the organization's programme and budget; it also outlines the main strategic directions for work in the region on each issue.
This publication also constitutes a Regional Office response to the priorities identified by our constituents and the way in which they are being addressed. This is reflected in the programmatic content in each of the documents.
