“Sustaining Employers’ Response to HIV/AIDS with less Donor Funding”

A two-day conference for Employers’ organizations is being organized by the International Organization of Employers on 24-25 February 2012, at Kibo Palace Hotel in Arusha, Tanzania, in collaboration with the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE), Business Africa and the ILO.

Around 80 participants from East, Central and Southern Africa Employers’ Organizations are likely to attend the conference. The keynote address will be given by Honourable Gaudentia Mugosi Kabaka (MP), Minister for Employment and Labour, Tanzania.

The conference will discuss good practices of employers' action on HIV and AIDS and generate ideas for an enhanced participation of employers' organizations/private sector in the response to HIV and AIDS in the region.
