The ILO hands over equipment to the Ministry responsible for Youth empowerment in Zimbabwe
The Danida funded project on Skills for Youth Employment and Rural Development is being implemented in 9 provinces of the country and is yielding positive results to the disadvantaged and vulnerable young women and men in the rural and semi-urban areas of the selected districts in these provinces.
In the picture on the right, the Minister of Youth Development, Indegenisation and Empowerment, Hon. Saviour Kasukuwere, testing one of the 10 motor bikes donated to the youths. The donated field equipment also includes 33 computers and 300 tool kits with an additional 18 bikes and an 8 tonne truck to follow.
