    ILO, UNFPA, City of Harare and Lafarge Cement Zimbabwe contributed a total of US$800 000.00 for the construction of the clinic, youth centre and a demonstration cobblestone road all constructed by the youth.

  2. Spotlight Initiative launched in Zimbabwe to tackle gender based violence

    Six UN agencies will be implementing interventions in the following areas of the EU funded Spotlight Initiative: laws and policies; institutions strengthening; prevention and social norms; services; data; and women’s rights movement. The ILO’s components on violence and harassment in the workplace, will be informed largely by the recently adopted Convention 190 and Recommendation 206 on violence and harassment in the world of work.
