Ms. Muferihat said that while delivering a presentation for panel discussion regarding Labour Administration Reform in Ethiopia – A Journey from Past to Present and Vision for the Future at the celebration of the centenary of Ethiopia’s membership in the International Labor Organization (ILO).

    While marking Ethiopia’s century-old membership with the UN agency, the National Labor Conference is being held under the theme: “Advancing Social Justice though Social Dialogue and Enhanced Productivity.” The high-level opening ceremony brought together, among others, Minister of Labor and Skills of Ethiopia, Ms. Muferihat Kamil, other Ministers, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, the ILO Regional Director, Deputy Director-General, trade unions’ leaders and employers’ associations.

They made the call at the fifth edition of the Africa Safety Awards for Excellence (AfriSAFE)/2023 Congress, with the theme, ‘Collaborating for a Safer and Sustainable Africa’, held in Lagos at the weekend.

    Drogba teams up with FIFPRO, ILO to educate African players about fake agents
