The International Labour Organization (ILO), together with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MOLSA), the Ethiopian Employers Federation (EEF) and the Confederation of Ethiopian Trade Unions (CETU) will mark the creation of the organization in April 1919.
The 90th Anniversary in Ethiopia will be marked by a range of coordinated national and regional events, which will take place during the week of 21-28 April 2009.
Since Addis Ababa is home to the African Union Commission, over 100 Diplomatic Missions (including 49 African countries), over 25 United Nations Agencies as well as large number of international inter-governmental organizations and NGOs, the national event in Ethiopia will be at the highest level.
