The guide aims to promote migrant workers’ rights and foster fair labour migration governance in Africa and will serve as a training tool in ILO’s and partners training programmes for Trade Unions to strengthen their role in promoting and influencing rights-based approach to labour migration. The Manual is composed of 14 practical modules, including good practices and examples of the role of TUs in protecting and providing services to migrant workers in Africa and abroad (focusing on countries of destination of African migrant workers).
