On Productivity Performance in Egypt: What is at Stake?
This policy brief based on the study conducted to estimate the total factor productivity (TFP) of Egyptian firms; which is conducted in collaboration with Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
The paper uses data from the economic census provided by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) of 2013 and 2018.
It provides a summary of the findings with explanation of the analysed data. It also aims at giving policy recommendations based on the findings.
