Single Window Service Delivery - Implementation Guidelines

Enhanced coordination and increased access to Social Protection programme implementation and service delivery is pivotal to reducing poverty and vulnerability. It is for this reason that, the Government of the Republic of Zambia through the support of the United Nations (ILO, UNICEF, and WFP) and the World Bank, has prioritised to streamline Social Protection programme implementation to address the fragmentation in the implementation Social Protection programmes and ensure efficient and effective use of resources. These guidelines will guarantee efficacy, and enhanced coordination in the manner in which social protection services are provided using initiatives such as the Single Window Service (SWS) Delivery which promotes Social Protection programme integration across various stakeholders. The Government’s resolve on this approach is as evidenced in its national development plans which include the Seventh National Development Plan’s (7NDP) cluster-based programming, and now the Eighth National Development Plan.
