    The International Labour Organization (ILO), with funding provided by the Government of Sweden, is supporting the Kafue Gorge Regional Centre (KGRTC) to implement the Skills for Energy in Southern Africa (SESA) Project, a three and a half year intervention. The overarching development objective is to “Increase uptake of Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Regional Energy Integration interventions in Southern Africa, leading to a more sustainable and low-carbon energy mix” through skills development and the establishment of Public-Private Development Partnerships in Zambia and in the SADC region.

  8. Terms of reference: Technical Assessment of the National Vocational Rehabilitation Center (Physical infrastructure, Electricals, Plumbing, Roofing and architectural design of the lodging and ICT training facility)

    The main objective of this assignment is to produce a technical document with Bill of Quantities (BOQ) that will be used guide the true cost of infrastructure repair of the Centre. Bidders would be required to visit the centre to inform their response to the call of proposals. Lastly, this exercise is expected to produce a 3D design and architectural design of the ICT and conference facility in close collaboration with centre management.

  9. Terms of reference: Training in Gabion Box Manual Weaving

    The main objective of the consultancy services is “to build capacities among local youth and women as well as Technical Training Institution on gabion box weaving technique”. ILO MozTrabalha, therefore, intends to engage the services of a consultant to provide theoretical and practical training on gabion manual weaving targeting a selected group of youth and women. The consultant will also develop a simplified field manual on gabion manual weaving.
