    ILO commissioned an assessment to study the status and needs of KSA returnees in order to better coordinate efforts in supporting their sustainable reintegration, with a focus on skills development interventions towards labour market demand

  8. Assessment of business services and training market

    ILO conducted a study to clarify the demand of the target beneficiaries, both technical and decent livelihood needs as well as identify existing financial and non-financial service providers (and their capacity) to improve livelihood opportunities for returnees.

  9. Assessment of Awareness-raising interventions to prevent irregular migration

    The study assessed awareness-raising initiatives undertaken by the government of Ethiopia and other key stakeholders to deter irregular migration. The study looked at the various communication strategies including mass media, training, community conversation and infotainment programmes used to reach broader audience as well as targeted vulnerable social groups.

  10. ILO to facilitate better access to labour market opportunities for refugees and IDPs

    Following the recent adoption of the refugee proclamation on 17 January 2019, ILO and social partners, with representatives of ARRA and TVET agencies convened to deliberate on ways to facilitate the integration of Refugees and IDPs into their host communities.
