This booklet was developed as part of the International Labour Organization’s Bureau for Workers’ Activities Project entitled “Workers’ Education and Environment” (INT/93/M12/NOR), which was started in 1990 with the support of the Norwegian Government. It describes different cases developed in Asia and Africa, and shows how environmentally sustainable development issues were integrated into trade union work.
